Psalm 25 Prayed

Psalm 25 Prayed
Praying to the Trinity for deliverance

   To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul;
            in you I trust, O my God.

   Do not let me be put to shame,
            nor let my spiritual enemies triumph over me.
   No one whose hope is in you
            will ever be put to shame,
   but they will be put to shame
            who are treacherous without excuse.

   Lord Jesus, I come to you, weary and burdened.
            Only you can give me rest.
   I take your yoke upon me,
            and seek to learn from you,
   for you are gentle and humble in heart,
            and I can only find rest for my soul in you.
  For your yoke is easy
            and your burden is light.
   So show me your ways, O Lord,
            teach me your paths;
   guide me in your truth and teach me,
            for you are Jesus my Saviour,
            and my hope is in you all day long.
   Remember, O Lord, your great mercy and love,
            for they are from of old.
   Remember not the sins of my youth
            and my rebellious ways;
   according to your love remember me,
            for you are good, O Lord Jesus.
   You are good and upright O Lord;
            therefore instruct me, a sinner, in your ways.
   Guide the humble in what is right
            and teach me your way.

   Praise be to you, O God and Father
            of our Lord Jesus Christ,
   who has blessed me in the heavenly realms
            with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
   For you chose me in him
            before the creation of the world
            to be holy and blameless in your sight.
   In love you predestined me to be adopted
            as your child through Jesus Christ,
            in accordance with your pleasure and will,
    to the praise of your glorious grace,
            which you have freely given me
            in Jesus, the One you love.

   In you, Jesus, I have redemption
            through your blood,
            the forgiveness of sins,
            in accordance with the riches of your grace
   that you lavished on me
            with all wisdom and understanding.
   All your ways are loving and faithful
            for those who keep the demands
            of your covenant.
   For the sake of your name, O Lord Jesus,
            forgive my iniquity, though it is great.
   Make me one that fears the Lord.
            Instruct me in the way you have chosen for me.
    Let me spend my days in prosperity,
            and let my descendants inherit the earth.
   O Lord, let me fear and love you,
            so that you can confide in me,
            make your covenant known to me.
   Let my eyes be ever on you, O Lord,
            for only you can release my feet
            from the snare of sin.

   O promised Holy Spirit, having believed,
            you marked me in Christ with a seal.
   You are my deposit guaranteeing my inheritance
            until the redemption of those
            who are God’s possession,
            to the praise of the Trinity’s glory.
   Turn to me and be gracious to me,
            for I am lonely and afflicted.
   The troubles of my heart have multiplied;
            free me from my anguish.
   Look upon my affliction and my distress
            and take away all my sins.
   See how my spiritual enemies have increased
            and how fiercely they hate me!
   Guard my life and rescue me;
            let me not be put to shame,
            for I take refuge in you.
   May integrity and uprightness protect me,
            because my hope is in you.

   So I keep asking you, O God of our Lord Jesus
            Christ,
            O glorious Father,
   give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation,
            so that I may know you better.
   I pray also that the eyes of my heart
            may be enlightened,
            in order that I may know the hope
            to which you have has called me:
   The riches of Christ’s glorious
            inheritance in the saints,
   and your incomparably great power
            for all of us who believe.

   Redeem your people, O Holy Trinity,
            from all our troubles!

Psalm 25

     Do not let me be put to shame,

     but they will be put to shame
            who are treacherous without excuse.

Matt. 11:28  “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
4   Show me your ways, O LORD,
            teach me your paths;
5   guide me in your truth and teach me,
            for you are God my Saviour,

            He will instruct him in the way chosen
            for him.
13  He will spend his days in prosperity,
            and his descendants will inherit the land.
14  The LORD confides in those who fear him;

            for only he will release my feet from
            the snare.
