Psalm 145 Prayed

Psalm 145 Prayed
Praising King Jesus

   I will exalt you Jesus, my God the King;
              I will praise your name for ever and ever.
   You are the Lamb who overcomes
              because you are the Lord of Lords,
              and King of kings
Every day I will praise you
              and extol your name for ever and ever.

   You are great, Lord Jesus, and most worthy of
              praise;
              your greatness no one can fathom.
   Let one generation commend your works to
              another;
              let them tell of your mighty acts.
   May they speak of the glorious splendour of your
              majesty,
              and help me to meditate on your wonderful
              works.
   May they tell of the power of your awesome
              works,
              and help me to proclaim your great deeds.
   May they celebrate your abundant goodness
              and joyfully sing of your righteousness.

   O Lord Jesus, you are gracious and compassionate,
              slow to anger and rich in love.
   You are good to all;
              you have compassion on all you have made.

   All you have made will praise you, O Jesus;
              let your saints extol you.
   Let them tell of the glory of your kingdom
              and speak of your might,
   so that all men may know of your mighty acts
              and the glorious splendour of your kingdom.
   Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
              and your dominion endures through all
              generations.
   You are the King eternal, immortal, invisible,
              you are the only God,
              and to you belongs honour and glory
              forever and ever.
   Your incomparably great power is
              working for us who believe.
   That power is like the working of your Father's
               mighty strength,
              which he exerted in you when he raised you
              from the dead
   and seated you at his right hand in the heavenly
              realms,
              far above all rule and authority, power and
              dominion,
              and every title that can be given,
   not only in the present age
              but also in the one to come.
   And your Father placed all things under your feet
              and appointed you to be head over everything
   for the sake of us, the church, which is your body,
              the fullness of you, who fills everything in
              every way.

   You are faithful to all your promises
              and loving toward all you have made.
   You uphold all those who fall
              and lift up all who are bowed down.
   The eyes of all look to you,
              and you give them their food at the proper
              time.
   You open your hand
              and satisfy the desires of every living thing.

   You are righteous in all your ways
              and loving toward all you have made.
   You are near to all who call on you,
              to all who call on you in truth.
   You fulfil the desires of those who fear you;
              and hear their cry and save them.
   You watch over all who love you,
              but you will destroy all the Wicked One's
              works.

   My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord Jesus.
              Let every creature praise your holy name
              for ever and ever.
