Psalm 20 Prayed Seeking God’s blessing throughout life    O Lord, answer me when I am in distress;             may your name; the God of Jesus, protect me.         Send me help from the sanctuary             and grant me support from heaven.    Remember all the sacrifices of Jesus for me,             accept his burnt offering on my behalf.    Help me to live a life of love,             just as Christ loved me             and gave himself up for me             as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to you.    Give me all the holy desires of my heart             and make all my plans succeed.    I pray that I may enjoy good health,             and that all may go well with me,             even as my soul gets along well.    I will shout for joy with my fellow believers             when I am victorious,             and we will lift up our banners             in your name, O God.    May it give you great joy,             to have others tell of our faithfulness to the             truth,             and how we walk in the truth.    O Lord our Father, grant all my requests,             for I ask in Jesus’ name.    Jesus promised that you will give             what ever I ask in his name.    So I ask, and trust that I will receive,             so that my joy may be complete.    Now I know that you, O Lord,             have saved your Messiah from the grave.    You answered him from your holy heaven             with the saving power of your right hand.    Some trust in tanks and some in their cars,             but I trust in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.    They are brought to their knees and fall,             but I rise up and stand firm.    O Lord God, save the kingdom of Jesus!             Advance his glory and influence in this world.             Answer me when I call!
