Psalm 21 Prayed

Psalm 21 Prayed
Praising King Jesus for his victories

   O Lord our Father, how King Jesus rejoices
            in your strength.
            How great is his joy in the victories you give!
   You have granted him the desire of his heart
            and have not withheld the request of his lips.

   When you raised Jesus from the dead,
            and seated him at your right hand
            in the heavenly realms,
   when Jesus ascended higher than all the heavens,
            in order to fill the whole universe.
   you welcomed him with rich blessings
            and placed a crown of pure gold on his head.
  From the grave, he asked you for life,
            and you gave it to him—
            length of days, for ever and ever.
   Through the victories you gave,
            his glory is great;
            you have bestowed on him splendour and majesty.
   You raised him far above all principality
            and power and might and dominion,
            and every name that is named,
   not only in this age
            but also in that which is to come.

   Surely you have granted him eternal blessings
            and made him glad with the joy
            of your presence.
   For King Jesus trusts in you, his Father;
            through the unfailing love of the Most High
            he will not be shaken.

   Lord Jesus, your hand will lay hold
            on all your spiritual enemies;
            your right hand will seize your foes.
   At the time of your appearing
            you will make them like a fiery furnace.
   In your wrath O Lord, you will swallow them up,
            and your fire will consume them.
   The devil, who deceived so many,
            will be thrown into the lake of burning sulphur,
            where the beast and the false prophet
            were thrown.
   They will be tormented day and night
            for ever and ever.
   You will destroy their descendants from the earth,
            their posterity from mankind.
   Though they plot evil against you
            and devise wicked schemes,
            they cannot succeed;
   for you will make them turn their backs
            when you aim at them with drawn bow.

   Be exalted, Lord Jesus, in your strength;
            I will sing and praise your might.

Eph. 4:10 …who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.
3   You welcomed him with rich blessings
            and placed a crown of pure gold
            on his head.
4   He asked you for life, and you gave it to him—
            length of days, for ever and ever.

            you have bestowed on him splendour
            and majesty.
Eph. 1:21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.
6   Surely you have granted him eternal blessings
            and made him glad with the joy
            of your presence.
7   For the king trusts in the LORD;
            through the unfailing love of the Most High
            he will not be shaken.

            your right hand will seize your foes.
9   At the time of your appearing

            and his fire will consume them.
Rev. 20:10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulphur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
10   You will destroy their descendants
            from the earth,
            their posterity from mankind.
11   Though they plot evil against you
            and devise wicked schemes,
            they cannot succeed;
12   for you will make them turn their backs
            when you aim at them with drawn bow.

13   Be exalted, O LORD, in your strength;
we will sing and praise your might.
