Psalm 54 Prayed

Psalm 54 Prayed
Praying for spiritual victory

   Save me, O God, by the name of Jesus;
            vindicate me by your might.
    Hear my prayer, O Father God;
            listen to the words of my mouth.

    Satan is attacking me;
            ruthless demons seek my life—
            spirits without regard for you, O God.
   Help me be self-controlled and alert,
            for my enemy the devil prowls around
            like a roaring lion looking for someone to
            devour.

   Surely you are my help, O my God;
            the Lord Jesus is the one who sustains me.
   Let evil recoil on those who slander me;
            in your faithfulness destroy them.
   Remember O God,
             the reason you sent your Son
            was to destroy the devil’s work.

   I will freely offer a sacrifice of praise to you;
            I will worship your name, O Lord Jesus,
            for it is good.
   For you have delivered me from all my troubles,
            and my eyes have looked in triumph on my
            spiritual foes.

Psalm 54
For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A maskil of David. When the Ziphites had gone to Saul and said, “Is not David hiding among us?”

1   Save me, O God, by your name;
            vindicate me by your might.
2   Hear my prayer, O God;
            listen to the words of my mouth.

3   Strangers are attacking me;
            ruthless men seek my life—
            men without regard for God.     Selah
1Pet. 5:8  Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

4   Surely God is my help;
            the Lord is the one who sustains me.
5   Let evil recoil on those who slander me;
            in your faithfulness destroy them.
1John 3:8 ..The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.

6   I will sacrifice a freewill offering to you;
            I will praise your name, O LORD,
            for it is good.
7   For he has delivered me from all my troubles,
            and my eyes have looked in triumph on
           my foes.
