Psalm
113 Prayed
Praising Jesus
We praise you, Lord Jesus.
As your servants O Lord Jesus,
we praise you,
we
praise the name of the Lord Jesus.
Let the name of the Lord Jesus
be praised,
both
now and forevermore.
From the rising of the sun to
the place where it
sets,
the
name of the Lord Jesus is to be praised.
For you, being in very nature
God,
did
not consider equality with God something
to
be grasped,
but you made yourself nothing,
taking
the very nature of a servant,
being
made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance
as a man,
you
humbled yourself
and
became obedient to death—
even
death on a cross!
Therefore God the Father
exalted you to the
highest
place
and
gave you the name that is above every
name,
that at the name of Jesus every
knee should bow,
in
heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that
Jesus Christ is Lord,
to
the glory of God the Father.
Lord Jesus, you are exalted over all
the nations,
your
glory above the heavens.
Who is like you, O Lord Jesus
our God,
for
you sit enthroned on high,
you stoop down to look
on
the heavens and the earth?
O Jesus, raise the poor from
the dust
and
lift the needy from the ash heap;
seat them with princes,
with
the princes of their people.
Settle the barren woman in her
home
as
a happy mother of children.
O Lord of peace, give us peace
at all times
and
in every way.
Keep us from falling
and
present us before your glorious presence
without
fault and with great joy.
To you, the only God our Saviour
let
there be glory, majesty, power and
authority,
through
Jesus Christ our Lord.
