Psalm 113 Prayed

Psalm 113 Prayed
Praising Jesus

  We praise you, Lord Jesus.

As your servants O Lord Jesus, we praise you,
we praise the name of the Lord Jesus.
Let the name of the Lord Jesus be praised,
            both now and forevermore.
From the rising of the sun to the place where it
            sets,
the name of the Lord Jesus is to be praised.
For you, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something
            to be grasped,
   but you made yourself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant,
            being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
            you humbled yourself
            and became obedient to death—
            even death on a cross!
Therefore God the Father exalted you to the
            highest place
and gave you the name that is above every
            name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Lord Jesus, you are exalted over all the nations,
            your glory above the heavens.
Who is like you, O Lord Jesus our God,
for you sit enthroned on high,
   you stoop down to look
on the heavens and the earth?

O Jesus, raise the poor from the dust
            and lift the needy from the ash heap;
   seat them with princes,
with the princes of their people.
Settle the barren woman in her home
as a happy mother of children.

O Lord of peace, give us peace at all times
            and in every way.
   Keep us from falling
and present us before your glorious presence
without fault and with great joy.
To you, the only God our Saviour
let there be glory, majesty, power and
            authority,
            through Jesus Christ our Lord.
             Praise the Lord.

Psalm 113

1   Praise the LORD.

Praise, O servants of the LORD,
praise the name of the LORD.
2   Let the name of the LORD be praised,
            both now and forevermore.
3   From the rising of the sun to the place where it
            sets,
the name of the LORD is to be praised.
Phil. 2:6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross! 9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

4   The LORD is exalted over all the nations,
            his glory above the heavens.
5   Who is like the LORD our God,
the One who sits enthroned on high,
6   who stoops down to look
on the heavens and the earth?

7   He raises the poor from the dust
            and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
8   he seats them with princes,
with the princes of their people.
9a   He settles the barren woman in her home
as a happy mother of children.

2Th. 3:16  Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
Jude 24  To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy—  25 to the only God our Saviour be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

9b            Praise the LORD.
