Psalm 121 Prayed

Psalm 121 Prayed
Trusting in Christ’s intercession to protect and bless me

   I lift up my eyes to the hills—
              where does my help come from?
   My help comes from you, Lord Jesus,
              the Maker of heaven and earth.

   For in the vicinity of Bethany,
              by the hill called the Mount of Olives,
   you lifted up your hands
              and blessed your disciples.
   While you were blessing them,
              you left them,
              and were taken up into heaven.
   After you had provided purification for my sins,
              you sat down at the right hand of the Majesty
              in heaven.
   Therefore you are able to save me completely,
              for I come to God through you,
              because you always live to intercede for me.

   You are able to keep me from falling,
              and present me before your glorious presence
              without fault and with great joy.
   So you will not let my foot slip—
              O Jesus, you watch over me and will not
              slumber;
   indeed, you watch over the whole Church,
              so you will neither slumber nor sleep.

   Lord Jesus, you watch over me—
              you are my shade at my right hand;
   the sun will not harm me by day,
              nor the moon by night.

   Lord Jesus, you will keep me from all harm—
              you will watch over my life;
   you will watch over your coming and going
              both now and forevermore.
