Psalm 103 Prayed

Psalm 103 Prayed
Praising Jesus for my salvation

   I praise you Lord Jesus, with all my soul;
            with all my inmost being, I praise your holy
            name.
    I praise you Lord Jesus, with all my soul,
            and I will not forget all your benefits—
   For you forgive all my sins
            and heal all my diseases.
   You redeem my life from the pit
            and crown me with love and compassion.
   You satisfy my desires with good things
            so that my youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

   Lord Jesus, you work righteousness
            and justice for all the oppressed.
   You made known your ways to Moses,
            your deeds to the people of Israel:
   You are compassionate and gracious,
            slow to anger, abounding in love.
   You will not always accuse,
            nor will you harbour your anger forever;
    You does not treat me as my sins deserve
            or repay me according to my iniquities.
   For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
            so great is your love for those who fear you;
   as far as the east is from the west,
            so far you have removed my transgressions
             from me.
   As a father has compassion on his children,
            so you have compassion on those who
            fear you.
   Because you were made like me,
            fully human in every way,
   in order that you might become a merciful
            and faithful high priest in service to God,
            and so that you might make atonement for
            my sins.
   So you know how I am formed,
            you remember that I am dust.

   As for me, my days are like grass,
            I flourish like a flower of the field;
   the wind blows over it and it is gone,
            and its place remembers it no more.
   But from everlasting to everlasting
            your love with me, for I honour you,
            and your righteousness with our children’s
            children—
   with all those who keep your covenant
            and remember to obey your precepts.

Lord Jesus, you have established your throne in
            heaven,
            and your kingdom rules over all.

   So praise the Lord Jesus, you his angels,
            you mighty ones who do his bidding,
            who obey his word.
   Praise the Lord Jesus, all his heavenly hosts,
            you his servants who do his will.
   Praise the Lord Jesus, all his works
            everywhere in his dominion.
   Join the voice of many angels,
            numbering thousands upon thousands,
            and ten thousand times ten thousand.
   Encircle his throne
            and the living creatures and the elders.
   In a loud voice sing to him:
            “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
            to receive power and wealth and wisdom and
            strength
            and honour and glory and praise!”
    I praise you Lord Jesus, with all my soul.

Psalm 103
Of David.

1   Praise the LORD, O my soul;
            all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2   Praise the LORD, O my soul,
            and forget not all his benefits—
3   who forgives all your sins
            and heals all your diseases,
4   who redeems your life from the pit
            and crowns you with love and
            compassion,
5   who satisfies your desires with good things
            so that your youth is renewed like the
            eagle’s.
6   The LORD works righteousness
            and justice for all the oppressed.
7   He made known his ways to Moses,
            his deeds to the people of Israel:
8   The LORD is compassionate and gracious,
            slow to anger, abounding in love.
9   He will not always accuse,
            nor will he harbour his anger forever;
10   he does not treat us as our sins deserve
            or repay us according to our iniquities.
11   For as high as the heavens are above the
            earth,
            so great is his love for those who fear him;
12   as far as the east is from the west,
            so far has he removed our transgressions
            from us.
13   As a father has compassion on his children,
            so the LORD has compassion on those
            who fear him;
Heb. 2:17 For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.
14   for he knows how we are formed,
            he remembers that we are dust.
15   As for man, his days are like grass,
            he flourishes like a flower of the field;
16   the wind blows over it and it is gone,
            and its place remembers it no more.
17   But from everlasting to everlasting
            the LORD’S love is with those who fear
            him,
            and his righteousness with their children’s
            children—
18   with those who keep his covenant
            and remember to obey his precepts.
19   The LORD has established his throne in
            heaven,
            and his kingdom rules over all.
20   Praise the LORD, you his angels,
            you mighty ones who do his bidding,
            who obey his word.
21   Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts,
            you his servants who do his will.
22a   Praise the LORD, all his works
            everywhere in his dominion.
Rev. 5:11  Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.  12 In a loud voice they sang: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and praise!”

22b            Praise the LORD, O my soul.
